Yesterday evening, kind of early, I had gone into the restroom to put away some towels and looked out the back window when what to my wondering eyes should appear...but 3 deer! A mama doe and her two fawns were hanging out under the apple tree. Mama was up on her hind legs knocking the lower fruit to the ground and the babies were gobbling away! This wasn't the first time I had seen critters in the backyard under the apple tree. Just last week I looked out the back window and low and behold there was Phil the groundhog on his hind legs gnawing away at one of the apples. I had never seen him doing this before.
I love all of God's critters out here.

That's so awesome! I would have loved to see that. Just knocking the fruit out for the little ones? Awww! :)
